Looking to do a little yoga with a great community? Join yoga instructor and ambassador Sam for an outdoor yoga class! Class will be a gentle yoga class, focusing on breathing and stretching and is open to all including those with little to no experience, with options for higher difficulty.
Class will take place in a sunny, grassy field. Option to picnic lunch after or enjoy a local restaurant.
Sam (RYT-200) has been a certified yoga instructor since 2020 and taught yoga for the Grand Canyon community from 2021-2023. She believes yoga, with its ancient roots, can connect us on a deeper level to both ourselves, and the world around us, while being accessible to everyone.

This is a beautiful hike in Rocky Mountain National Park!! Views of Long's Peak, Pagoda Peak, and Chiefshead on the way to Black Lake! Waterfalls MIGHT be flowing and we may see high alpine lakes as they are starting to freeze for the winter.

Join us on a hike to one of the most iconic places in Fort Collins, Horsetooth Rock! Visible from all over town, this picturesque rock towers over Fort Collins and offers incredible views. Horsetooth Rock Trail is roughly 5 miles with an optional spur to scramble up the rock itself and really feel like the top of the world! On a clear day you can see from Pike's Peak to Wyoming and into RMNP. The trail loop is 1,400 ft elevation gain. Well marked dirt trail, rated Difficult Moderate

How about a bluetiful, fall hike to Blue Lake? Blue Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness is a short, 5 mile roundtrip hike with a fairly steady 1000' foot elevation gain topping out around 11500'.
Don't let that hold you back! I will always accommodate hikers that prefer to move a little slower. After all, we'll want to stop and soak in the bluetiful scenery along the way, including Mitchell Lake, Mt. Audobon, Mt. Toll, and Paiute Pk.
Be prepared for a rocky trail.

Sunset Hike | CO

Lava flow formed North Table Mountain about 60 something million years ago. This is a perfect hike in Golden, CO in the Denver Metro area with panoramic views of the city, mountains, and wildlife.
Agenda: - 6pm - meet at the trailhead - 6:10pm take a group picture - 6:15pm begin hike (hardest part of the hike is the beginning. ~300 feet elevation gain) - 6:45 - 7pm explore the sea cliffs at the top of the initial incline, get more pictures - 7pm take the Lichen Peak Trail to the highest point on the mesa (another ~85 feet) - 7:30pm reach the peak and enjoy the sunset -
Descend. Two options - 1. the way we came up, 2. around the side of the mountain. Should be back to cars no later than 8pm.

This experience gives a hands on approach to astrophotography instruction where you will learn to expand your knowledge about photography skills and the universe! You will leave with your own memory card full of photographs you take!
We will be meeting our event partner Maggie Martin from Colorado Astrophotography.
On this date there is likely to be a viewable meteor shower as well!

Considered a strenuous hike, Chasm Lake offers spectacular views just below the famous Long’s Peak, the highest peak in the park.
We’ll start this trail at 9,400 feet and steadily climb through a subalpine forest up to the alpine tundra. Here, you’ll cross a vast tundra meadow of rocks, and fragile plants - keep an eye out for marmots and pikas! At the Chasm Junction there is an outhouse available. We’ll get spectacular offers views into a deep gorge of Peacock Pool and Columbine Falls. After this, the trail turns to rock and you may need to use cairns to do easy rock climbing up the cirque to where the lake is located.

Hello you wintry Coloradans! Time for a two event Saturday. Join us for one or both, it's up to you!
We're meeting up in Summit county's Frisco - a small mountain town coming in at over nine thousand feet with a population of just over three thousand for a snow shoe/microspike excursion. It's a popular moderately challenging 2.6 out and back route with about 800 feet of elevation gain. This is a free event and we can have any number of people attend.
After the hike, we will break for lunch nearby. and meet for the second activity - tubing.
Meet up for this activity is 1:15pm. This activity costs $32 and has a separate waiver (for the adventure park) that needs to be signed ahead of time.

Ready for a pre-holidays hike with snowy trails and epic views?
The hike to Twin Sisters Peak, at ~7 miles roundtrip and around 2300 ft of elevation gain, is both challenging and rewarding.
This hike features a forested trail, the traverse of a landslide, and steep switchbacks leading to a breathtaking view. The final push to the summit requires an exciting rock scramble to the top of Twin Sisters Peak East. From the peak, hikers can enjoy wonderful views of Longs Peak, Mount Meeker, Estes Cone, and the Continental Divide.
Note: Weather conditions this time of the year in the Rocky Mountains are erratic. If snow or cold pose a danger, this event will be postponed.
